The Bench is our short list of specialists we know by name and call in when a problem needs exactly what they do. No pitching, no quotas, no account management. You do the part you're best at, alongside our lead tigers, then step back.
Every specialist on the bench has these four things in common. It's the same standard we hold our lead tigers to.
You've owned a function, a number or a budget and lived with the result. Clients are tired of advice from people who never had to execute it.
A real specialty, earned over years. We call the bench when a problem needs someone who has seen it fifty times, not someone seeing it for the first.
No layers, no handoffs, no decks for the sake of decks. You work directly with our lead tigers and the client's team.
If the plan won't work, you say so, kindly and before it costs anyone money. That's the job.
Four steps. We'd rather know you before a client needs you than scramble to find you after.
Tell us your specialty, one problem you solved and the number it moved. No cover letter, no deck.
A 30-minute call with one of our lead tigers about how you work, what you won't take on and the problems you want more of.
Your first engagement runs alongside one of our lead tigers, so you see how we work and we see how you do.
When a problem fits your specialty, we call with the scope and the rate. You say yes or no. No minimums, no hard feelings.
If yours isn't here, ask it on the intro call. We'd rather you know exactly what you're signing up for.
No. Most of the bench runs their own practice, agency or role, and you're free to keep working with other firms in your specialty. We won't compete with you. If you own a marketing agency, for example, we'll bring you in for the specific things you do best.
It depends on what clients need. Some specialists join a few projects a year, others most months. We won't promise volume we can't deliver.
A GLD Tiger lead, every time. You work directly with the client's team, but scoping, pricing and accountability sit with us. That's what lets you focus on the work.
On an engagement, yes: you're part of the tiger team. Your own brand stays yours, and we credit you by name, with a spot on our About page.
It depends on the specialist and the work. Some keep a standing rate; others quote each project. Either way, it's agreed in writing before any work starts.
A short form, read by a person. Every application gets a reply, fast.
